Like all the greats, Rocks and Soul started with the essentials: me, a handful of crystals and the corner of my parents’ garage.
I was utterly obsessed with rocks of all kinds, but buying them at retail price wasn’t an option on a student budget. Determined to make crystals more affordable and accessible – not just for myself, but for other people as well – I figured out how to source wholesale crystals, and stumbled into building a business.
What makes it so special? You guys! The incredible people who’ve joined me on this adventure and turned it into something truly unforgettable.
About our founder
Hey, I’m Issy – crystal enthusiast, accidental business owner and your go-to guide for all things rocky.
My love for crystals started as a kid, bribed with tumbles for good (ish) behaviour at the National Geographic store.
University Earth science classes reignited that obsession, and Rocks and Soul was born – starting in the corner of my parents’ living room, then spilling over into their garage. Sorry, guys.
What started as a way to fund my collection has since grown into a business and community I love. It’s also given me the opportunity to support causes close to my heart, like wildlife rehabilitation and conservation and breast cancer awareness.
Because for us, building something meaningful always comes before selling.
About our approach
We source our crystals from trusted suppliers worldwide, handpicking each piece with care and a focus on ethical consciousness.
Our commitment to thoughtful choices extends to every facet of our business. We work with mines that educate employees about the environmental impact of mining, ensure workers are in safe conditions and receive fair pay and rejuvenate the land after mining is complete.
We also prioritise reducing waste by packing your orders in recycled materials. It may not be flashy, but it’s kinder to the planet – and we think that matters more.
